Stuff Art Aotearoa Gold Award Entry 2025

Welcome to The Stuff Art Aotearoa Award 2025.

Please read all the information below carefully before making your submission. This form is to be used for a single entry for each art show where you are entering the award.

Only one original wall hung artwork is to be entered at each regional show. All entries into the STUFF Art Aotearoa Gold Award are to be for sale.
Entry into the 2025 Stuff Art Aotearoa Gold Award is open to anyone over 18 years old currently living permanently in New Zealand or who has New Zealand citizenship.
The organisers reserve the right to reject any non-compliant or unsuitable artworks for any reason whatsoever with no discussion being entered into by the applicant. Any correspondence between the artist and the organisers is confidential and will not be shared with third parties unless authorised.
Your submission link to this award must be completed 25 days before the opening night of the art show for which that entry has been made, to be a valid entry. Dates to be submitted by are: Wellington, Feb 3rd. Christchurch, April 1st. Auckland, May 31st. Queenstown, Sept 23rd.

Title of Artwork

Medium: Entries can be single or mixed media paintings, drawings, digital works, textile works, photographs and similar. Prints (unless photography/digital) are not accepted. If in doubt about compliance, email Leigha@artshowsaa.co.nz for clarification.

Dimensions. Your entry can be no larger than 1200mm x 1200mm x 50mm inclusive of frame.

Date of work. Your entry must have been completed within one year prior to your entry date.

Price of work.

Artwork Images

Please submit four high resolution images, no larger than 5MB, .jpg or .png format required. Your images must be a true and accurate representation of the artwork entered.

The submitted images must be:

one high resolution image showing the scale of the artwork.
one high resolution image showing close-up detail.
one work of the artist with the award entry.
one front on image of the work.
The image file names to include the artist's initials and the artwork dimensions in millimetres, WxHxD, and the Artwork's unique name and the number of the file from 1 -4. e.g: AB1000x800x45mmUniqueArtworkName1

Acknowledgement of Terms of Entry

You must acknowledge the following information is correct and true by ticking the boxes below.

My entry has been completed within one calendar year of this entry date.

I confirm that my entry is no larger than 1200mm x 1200mm x 50mm inclusive of framing.

I confirm that my entry is professionally presented, easy and ready to hang. Suitably strung with wire/cord attched to D rings. No protruding nails/screws. My artwork is dry, and has a secure surface that is "fixed".

My entry has not been exhibited publicly anywhere at all, including galleries, exhibitions, art shows, art trails, artist’s own studio or online including an artist’s own website, Instagram, Facebook and similar social media.

I give permission for any bios, photos, images, videos of myself and my entry to be used for promotional/marketing purposes by Art Shows Across Aotearoa.

I confirm that if my entry is selected as a national winner, finalist, or highly commended I will keep all details confidential until ASAA make an official public announcement.

I confirm that I am over 18 years old and am currently living permanently in New Zealand and/or I have New Zealand citizenship.
