At Art Shows Across Aotearoa we welcome a diversity of work from artists to showcase to the public. Large sculpture, artisan jewellery, textile art, object art, pottery and ceramics all have a place in our shows, along with all forms of large and small wall hung art.
During our show days we encourage you to demonstrate your skills to the public as part of our ethos of 'Art for Everyone'. This is very popular with the viewing public.

The Lawson's Dry Hills People's Choice award has a new twist in 2024 becoming the PINK People's Choice Awards. An exciting concept for our top ten artworks.
Trusted professional art suppliers, Liquitex and Winsor & Newton will run their artist sponsorship awards at ALL our art show locations in 2024.
In 2024 we are introducing the Stuff Art Aoteoroa Gold Award - one of New Zealand's largest art prizes.

STATEMENT SCULPTURE
Art Shows Across Aotearoa are seeking applications from sculptors whose work comes into the large category . . . for all our show locations. With STATEMENT SCULPTURE we are filling a gap that our customers have been asking us about. We are keen to have more large indoor and outdoor sculptural works on display in the great new venues that we are using in 2024.
With our new price range of under $200 to over $20,000 there is no price limit on STATEMENT SCULPTURES, we do however suggest that you keep your buyers in mind when pricing your work. If you have images available of your STATEMENT SCULPTURES or of yourself at work in your forge or your shed out the back, then do send your images to us to be included in pre-show promotions.
STATEMENT SCULPTURES will partner well with our SIGNATURE LARGE ART paintings at all our shows throughout 2024. We have had a very positive response from artists keen to submit large paintings – generally exceeding 1500mm² in size, These have been selected from submissions made by painters already signed up to exhibit at all our art shows.
We now need Applications from sculptors who will have large works available for one or more of the Show dates below.
Applications can be made via the various locations or if you have questions regarding access, delivery and bumping-out or anything else not covered off on the application form, then please contact John.

We are excited to partner with STUFF to introduce this prestigious national Award which will run progressively throughout the 2024 show season across all four of our show locations in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Queenstown. One FINALIST and two Highly Commended artists will be progressively selected and announced at each Show throughout the year - with the ultimate WINNER being selected from these FOUR LOCATION FINALISTS after the final 2024 Show in Queenstown. It is going to be a suspense filled year!

If you are accepted to exhibit at multiple Locations you can enter the Award each time, increasing your chances of becoming a FINALIST and/or the overall WINNER. An Entry Fee of $25 is required for each Award entry – these fees being applied to the administration and professional adjudication costs involved with a national award of this standing.
