I began potting in the 70s!

I made wheel thrown domestic ware,and handmade pieces which were mostly Raku Fired.

After a 30 year hiatus, I have rediscovered clay and all its exciting possibilities.

All my work is made without a wheel. My intentions vary, but I’m always looking for a particular natural aesthetic,at present my focus is on freely expressed texture and graphics,on simple forms, using a variety of clays.

All my work is fired in an electric kiln to 1230 degrees.
