Jocelyn Friis
Born in South Africa, Jocelyn now resides in New Zealand where she is inspired every day by the beautiful land and seascapes surrounding her. Her deep love of nature and all things creative traces back to her childhood when, awakened by her Steiner education, she learnt to appreciate creativity in nature.
Jocelyn's artistic journey has been marked by exploration and self-study, developing her own techniques along the way, particularly in her acrylic and encaustic works. Her passion for art goes beyond personal expression; she believes in the healing power of art-making. As a qualified facilitator, she extends this passion to others by offering classes in process and healing painting. Regularly exhibiting her work, Jocelyn not only shares her artistic creations with the world but also spreads the therapeutic possibilities of art.
