Auckland Art Show: Award Exhibitor Application 2026

This is the application form for artists who are wishing to apply as Award Exhibitors. A prerequisite to enter the 2026 ART SHOWS ACROSS AOTEAROA GOLD AWARD is acceptance to exhibit in the specific ASAA art show that you are submitting your award to. All artists, Award exhibitors and Artist Pack Exhibitors, entering the award must be accepted as an exhibitor first and apply for entry to the relevant ASAA art show.


To complete this form you will require a short artist bio, recent high res (up to 15MB) jpeg images of your artwork, your bank account details, and an optional mp4 video.

Select your delivery option. Acceptance of our T’s & C’s means that you accept our arrangements for couriering and ticketing.
Option 1: I will hand deliver my work to the art show on the Friday from 12 noon - 1pm and I will remove my wrapping and take it with me once I have delivered my work. I will follow all H & S instructions while I am in the venue. If unsold, I will hand collect on Sunday from 5pm - 6pm.
Option 2 : I will be couriering my work to the local Pack and Send (advised by ASAA) and I will arrange collection from the local Pack and Send if unsold. This will incur a $40 plus GST handling charge.

ONLINE GALLERY

All artists who exhibit at one or more ASAA shows in 2026 can now be featured in our new national online sales gallery opening this December. A more detailed portal for this option will be sent to those artist who want to be involved in this initiative. Each artist can have up to 10 artworks on the site at any time, price range for works will start at $500. The sales price of work will be inclusive of delivery (which is artist's responsibility) and commission will be 20%. This will be marketed via our nationwide data base throughout the year.

We have options available for award exhibitors to work as white glovers employed by Art Shows Across Aotearoa. Tick the box below to indicate if you are interested in finding out how you can work at the show. A fee for working as art show support staff will be paid to you post show if we have employment available for you. All staff are expected to abide by their employment contract with ASAA.

Discounted Event Tickets

Discounted event tickets are available for those who wish to attend VIP or Opening Night Event. Ordering via the application portal means that you can claim GST on these purchases while avoiding any handling fees included on the ticketing platform. All successful applications will receive 2 X weekend passes to the art show.

Ticket purchases will be sent out to you one month prior to the show. This option is only available on the application portal.

Please note that if you are selected as an award finalist we will send you tickets to the VIP event.

By uploading these images to us you are agreeing to Art Shows Across Aotearoa's use of your images for promotional purposes for our art shows and on our social media platforms.

The images that you upload are to give an example of the style and type of works that you create. The work portrayed will not be available at the show that you are applying for. It is also not to be an image of the award work that you wish to enter. We require 3 digital images of your work. Images of your work set in an artificial A.I. environment are not accepted.

Important please label your jpeg/png. file with your last name and name of the art work. eg: Smithsunrise.

Award Fees

Award entry fee for award exhibitor category is $75 plus. GST.

Successful applicants award artworks will be on exhibit and for sale at a 35% commission rate in the award area for the duration of the show. If work is to be couriered to the event a handling fee of $40.00 plus GST applies.

A non-refundable fee of $30 plus GST is required to confirm your application. When you click the Pay & Apply button you will be taken to a checkout where you can pay your application fee straightaway via credit/payment card.

A link for your award entry and award exhibitor instructions with full details of delivery will be sent out to you if your application is accepted. Award applications must be submitted by 6th July at Midnight.


Expect a response from ASAA within 20 working days of us receiving your application.
