Robynne produces work spanning a varied range of genres, from abstract to realism, painting in both oils, acrylics and ink, choosing not to be bound by specific styles leaving room for creative freedom.  

While subjects vary they are often an abstract interpretation, drawing inspiration from the dramatic scenery of the South Island alpine and coastal environments,  as reflected in the series of work Te Waipounamu.  With a passion for plants and gardening also being reflected in many pieces, providing an opportunity to work in both vibrant and muted tones.
