Valentyna Ovsiiko was born into a family of engineers and spent much of their life in Odessa, Ukraine. After graduating from a theatre and art college, she worked as a theatre artist and advertising designer, an experience that deeply influenced their painting style. Since becoming a full-time painter in 1990, her work has evolved with a distinctive flair. A member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, her art has been exhibited in Ukraine, Germany, and Belgium, and is featured in private collections across Ukraine, Germany, Belgium, Israel, the Netherlands, the USA, and New Zealand. Currently, Valentyna lives and works in New Zealand.
