I am constantly endeavoring to capture the interaction of light and colour on the canvas, and surrounded by our stunning southern scenery and skies, I have endless inspiration to draw from. I paint on location and in the studio predominately in oils and acrylics. I have been painting professionally for over 25 years, exhibiting widely including internationally in the USA, Canada and South Africa. 

I have tutored both adult and children art programmes and been invited to judge a number of art exhibitions. I was delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit in the Art Show this year for the first time. On a personal note, I have made the decision to now paint under my maiden name Bronwyn Heatlie as homage to my dad.
