As a full-time artist who immigrated from South Africa to New Zealand, my work is a reflection of both my surroundings and my personal journey. Using oil paint and various oil mediums, I capture the raw beauty of nature while exploring deeper emotional landscapes. I find that true beauty is revealed in the unplanned and untamed aspects of the natural world.

I often create tension in my paintings through color and status conflicts, which adds a layer of complexity and intrigue to my work. These contrasts invite viewers to engage with the artwork on multiple levels, challenging their perceptions and offering new perspectives.

Recently I am expending my "Underwater Series", which is a reflection of my lifelong connection with water. Inspired by my snorkeling experiences in Cape Town, South Africa, and childhood memories of swimming in a dam in China, I explore the hidden beauty beneath the surface.
