Tanya-Celine Walker
Growing up in Te Anau, on the doorstep of Fiordland National Park, instilled in me a deep respect for New Zealand’s landscapes and the people connected to them. These early experiences continue to shape my work and my connection to place. A self-taught oil painter, I draw on the traditions of the Old Masters while working with a contemporary impressionist approach. After more than three decades in Queenstown, the landscapes of New Zealand’s lower South Island remain my inspiration.
