The award presentation to the national winner Shona Mackenzie took place at the beautiful Curator's House Restaurant, next to the botanic gardens in Christchurch. Stuff Media, the national Judges and Art Shows Across Aotearoa attended and this was a celebration of Shona and Shona's win with her work "Heart's Content".

Shona's work won after it was progressively judged over our 2024 art show exhibiting year - selected from hundreds of entries, and ultimately from the four regional finalists. You can follow the award journey here on our gold award gallery.
