I love our land with its awesome mountains and rivers, wonderful skies and the living land. Our wonderful South Island is full of amazing treasures which are a both a challenge and a joy. The challenge is to capture the atmosphere while the joy comes from painting it. I live in Christchurch and now paint mainly in oils. I enjoy talking about the places I have been and my work in general. I have been in workshops with both Wayne Edgerton and John Crump in the last two year who have influenced my work.
