Holly is an artist based in Gisborne, Tairāwhiti. She has a diverse and unique style, blurring the distinction between painting & drawing and investigating surface, edge, contour and colour with a variety of marks and materials. Holly’s works are intuitive and abstract or formless. She creates a visual dialogue between artist and viewer through making bold works bursting with colour, to quiet and minimal pieces that provide calm and space. Holly has been a practising artist for more than 20 years and her work is held in private collections across NZ. She is actively involved with nationwide shows, exhibitions and galleries.
