Katie's studio is located on Waiheke Island. She moved from Nantucket, MA in the USA to NZ in 2010. She received her BFA from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 1988. Her Paintings are exhibited in the USA and New Zealand Galleries. 

I think of my work as atmospheric realism with a focus on colour. My subjects vary depending on my mood. Larger than life fruit has been a muse for many years and the vistas of Waiheke Island are captivating.
