Pauline Gough is a Matakana self-taught artist who has been painting and exhibiting prolifically since 2010. Pauline creates expressive, painterly works that remain lively and not overworked. Her energetic brushwork, rich textures and distinctive mark-making give her bold artworks a nostalgic quality that is instantly recognisable while her rural background remains central to her artistic voice.
