NEWS FROM AOTEAROA'S FAVOURITE ART SHOWS!

2026 is shaping up to be Art Shows Across Aotearoa’s biggest year yet!

The Christchurch and The Wellington Art Show exceeded all expectations this year, both shows experienced record crowds and record sales. Our audiences had a blast visiting these amazing art shows set in New Zealand's best venues, thank you Te Pae, and Tākina!

Over each show weekend, our Wellington and Christchurch audiences were treated to live art demonstrations, giving visitors an insight into the creative process behind the art we all adore. Below are pictured Christchurch based artists, Georgette Thompson & Min Kim demonstrating their techniques at The Christchurch Art Show.

Saturday evening at The Christchurch Art Show was a massive highlight, as audiences were amazed by The Space Cowboy’s live performance, beginning with spoon bending and ending with his famous sword-swallowing act!

What’s Next?

With two hugely successful shows behind us, we look forward to our next event, The Auckland Art Show and to our new show in Tauranga. Visitors can expect a stellar line up of artists, entertainment, and artist demonstrations.

Our Auckland show is on 31st July to the 2nd August at The Viaduct Events Centre & our Tauranga show 28th to the 30th of August at Mercury Baypark Arena.

The Queenstown Art Show returns for Labour Weekend, 23–26 October, at Te Pūāhuru, Queenstown Events Centre. This is where we will celebrate our 30th Art Show with you all in the heart of the South Island. We’re excited to meet new audiences, reconnect with familiar faces, and continue to bring original art to communities across Aotearoa.

We look forward to seeing you at our shows this year as we continue our exhibition schedule across Aotearoa.
